FireTally is a web app for tracking personal and household finances: bank account balances, funds, pensions, property, debts, scenarios, retirement forecasts, and an optional watchlist. By using the app you agree to these terms.
FireTally is currently free to use. There are no paid tiers, no premium features behind a paywall, and no advertising shown anywhere in the product.
We reserve the right to introduce one of the following in future:
If either model is introduced you will be told in advance (notice inside the app and, if you have provided one, by email). Existing data will not be locked away — you will always be able to export your data via the in-app Backup button, regardless of plan.
FireTally is a calculation and tracking tool, not a financial adviser. Projections, retirement readiness numbers, and any other figures the app shows are based on the assumptions you enter and on third-party market data. They are estimates, not guarantees, and should not be treated as recommendations. Consult a qualified financial professional before making material decisions.
Market prices, currency rates, and similar reference data come from third parties (currently Yahoo Finance for prices and FX). We pass these through as-is. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Always cross-check important numbers against your broker / bank / pension provider.
We aim to keep the app running, but it is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no uptime guarantee. Scheduled maintenance, upstream provider outages (Supabase, Vercel, Yahoo) or rare incidents can cause downtime.
You can stop using the app at any time. If you would like your data deleted, contact us using the channel in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms in a way that puts other users or our infrastructure at risk. Where possible we will warn you first.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial decisions you make using the app, for losses arising from inaccurate market data, or for downtime. The app is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude — for example liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If we change these terms materially we will update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes (including any introduction of paid tiers or advertising), surface a notice in the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
